Stoeger is a brand well known to shooters and shotgun lovers, with a strong legacy starting in 1924. But never fear they didn’t forget about the striker fired community and they knocked it out of the park with the STR-9S Combat Tungsten Grey Two Tone. I will just cut to the chase the secret is in the grip design and metal magazines, yes 20 round metal magazines. With this genius like design of the new metal magazines that are smaller than Glock magazine makes this pistol ergonomically superior to the Glock by a wide margin. The undercut trigger guard allows the pistol to sit low in your palm which allows for quick follow up shots.

Though it looks like another Glock clone it is far from it starting with the trigger. The trigger to my finger felt between 4 and 5 pounds with little to almost no take up and very smooth. In the box are two additional back straps to fit almost every hand. The wide magazine well makes for quick and easy reloads. Comes with an adjustable fiber optic sighting system front and rear and is optic ready, three 20 round metal magazines and has an overall length of 7.94in due to the threaded barrel making it suppressor ready.
